Compliance Testing

SC Labs test panels meet the requirements for cannabis or cannabis products as required by California’s Department of Cannabis Control (DCC), which includes a laboratory-performed sampling of a cannabis batch to ensure a representative sample is obtained. Our laboratory staff member seals the batch and transports the sample back to the lab where the required tests are performed.

What is a compliance batch?

A compliance batch is a single unit of market-ready harvest cannabis or a manufactured product.

Harvest Batch Sizes

A harvest batch includes flowers (packaged and unpackaged), trim, leaf material, and kief.

  • Our lab requires a minimum of 16 g of plant material: 14 g to perform all necessary tests and 2 g reserved for potential retesting.
  • Sampler must collect the minimum number of increments.
  • Unpacked harvest batches should be sampled from bulk container for efficiency.
